It's calming to visit the beach and listen to the sound of the waves. Rushing water pulls us toward the sand and provides opportunity to become aware of God‘s awesome presence in our lives. 

We feel the power of His mighty strength, as we stand in awe of His magnificent creation. But, in moments of unwelcome circumstance, we often become unsteady and lose our balance of content.   

Waves are a powerful force. They capture undisturbed thoughts and move us to places unknown. In swift moments of time, life can forever change where we stand. But the Bible says, "Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord." Psalm 31:24. Those precious words of reassurance remind us who is in control of our days. 

God shows us how to cope, when waves of worry move us far away and leave us stranded without a heart of content. He rescues us with His mighty hands of strength and pulls us toward the safety of His shore. God supplies what we need to find strength to withstand the tides of time. But, we must be willing to allow Him to carry us and understand we will be placed where He has chosen for us to arrive.  

God will guide us. He will help us deal with waves of worry which try to knock us down. He will help us find strength in our lives, if we will trust in Him, and allow ourselves to find refuge in the arms of His everlasting love.
