Fall is an amazing season. Leaves are transformed into beautiful gifts of color. God carefully changes His awesome display, and allows us to enjoy the timing of his love. He reminds us many leaves will not stay on the trees. They will separate from the place they have been nurtured for many months. Strong winds will carry them, and make us question why they have not been allowed to stay with those who remain. We will wonder why they were not chosen to fall... 

God gives time to purpose, and decides when the gifts of His creation will be revealed. We too will face strong winds in our lives. God will provide strength for us to hold on tight, and allow us to remember He has already prepared us for the moment when we will need to let go. 

God longs for us to be reminded we have been nurtured by His love. He wants us to trust we will arrive safely in His arms, and be guided toward the mercy of His grace. God allows us to develop a beautiful heart of faith. He transforms us through the seasons of our lives and guides us in the frailties of our falls. He prepares us for our weakness, even before He determines when we are strong enough to finally let go… 

Dear God, You prepare us for the seasons of change in our lives, and remind us we have been created to enjoy all You will provide. Help us recognize we may fall. Teach us to understand You will catch us in Your arms of strength, and lift us to the place we will see Your will, as we live our lives for You. Amen
