For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11.
“It’s never too late to become what you might have been.” God is not finished working in our lives. No matter how old we become, He knows us as children who need to be guided by His will, in His time and for His great purpose. Our Father watches over us and provides for our needs. He has a plan for our days.
Sometimes, we forget how perfectly God prepares us to step ahead. He
navigates our lives and lays a trail for us to follow. He equips us to
move along, even before we recognize where to go. And, He nurtures the
longing of our hearts, so we will be ready to grow.
Strength will come, when we allow God to nourish our faith and open our hearts to the guiding of His will. He will remind us why we don’t have to move ahead on our own. He will lead us on a path of purpose and prepare us to be blessed, when we have learned to faithfully trust.
We must seek Him with all of our hearts, turn from our selfish ways and never stop believing in the power of His love. If we allow God to lead us, He will steer us in the right direction. He will help us gratefully stay on course and He will help us understand He has plans for our lives. We must “never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”
Dear God, Thank you for Your loving presence. Lift us high, so we can see glimpses of what’s ahead in our lives. Help us faithfully remember; blessings will come with patience, as we learn to trust in You. Amen
