“I can do everything through him who gives me strength” Philippians 4:13
God is bigger than our weakness. He allows us to discover His amazing strength and recognize how it feels to be held in His holiness. He demonstrates the depth of His love and reveals His presence in our lives, when we place our hope in Him.
The Bible says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed,
for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold
you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 These words of assurance
help us remember God is faithful to those who recognize strength comes
from Him.
Often, we focus on weakness. We spend too much time worrying about the “what ifs” and forget to TRUST in the One who knows what will happen next. We allow fear to diminish our hope and have difficulty finding calm. But, God knows our every thought. And, when weakness tries to rob us of content, He opens our hearts a little wider, so we will be ready to receive His love.
God reminds us who will carry our loads. And, when we have been readied to be armed by His greatness, He cradles us in care and helps us remember we are never alone.He helps us do ALL things. Circumstances in our lives will change, but He will not. Our loving Father has a plan for our days. He will help us. And in moments to draw us nearer to His presence of peace, He WILL arms us with STRENGTH and remind us why we must always TRUST.
Dear God, Thank you for knowing our every need. Help us trust in the love of Your faithfulness. Remind us why we must surrender to You, seek You with all of our hearts and never forget; Your strength is made perfect in our weakness. Amen
