“This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ Jeremiah 6:16

Sometimes, we stand at the crossroads and wonder which way to go. We have difficulty choosing a path of purpose and wonder where the journey will end. We forget to trust in the One who navigates our lives and we become weary of what’s to come.

God guides and provides, as we learn to trust in Him. He knows the happenings of our days. He readies us to move along, but not until we have figured out which way to go. He opens our eyes to see what's ahead and provides the wisdom we need to recognize how to be led by His faithfulness.

It won’t always be easy to travel. We will face obstacles and become impatient along the way. But, God will find the way to remind us we will never walk alone. He will help us remember; blessings will come, when we stop trying to move ahead on our own and learn what it means to faithfully follow.

Dear God, Thank you for guiding us by Your will. Forgive us when we step ahead and forget to trust in Your guiding. We will seek You with all of our hearts and faithfully follow, all of the days of our lives. Amen
