These trials are only to test your faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold. And, your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold. So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor, on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. 1 Peter 1:7

God waits to see how we cope with the happenings of our days. He longs to lead us to His arms of strength, when pressure builds and we need to be held by His love. But sometimes, we choose to deal with difficulties on our own and forget how it feels to TRUST. 

The Bible says, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4

God nurtures our faithfulness. He uses moments of surrender to fill us with the power of His peace. And, in troubled times of need, He reminds us who's in charge of our days. If we learn to TRUST, He will lead us past the obstacles. He will carry us over the mountains and prepare us to discover what waits on the other side. 

We must humble our hearts and allow ourselves to be led by the strength of His greatness, so we will never forget; He will use our trials to help us recognize how to be faithful. And, if we are steadfast, He will surely guide us toward better days to come...

Dear God, Thank you for the presence of Your love. Forgive us when we allow the trials in our lives to rob us of Your perfect peace. We will trust in You and patiently wait to be led by Your greatness. And, in moments to be guided by the hope of our faith, we will surrender the worries of our hearts and find reason to remember You WILL handle all things. Amen
