And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 ESV
Christ fills us with the strength of His love and readies us to receive Him. He prepares us to remember who’s in charge of all things. And, in tender moments of truth He reminds us to be faithful.
When we have been held by the presence of His peace, Christ helps us
examine our lives, so we will recognize where to find the Father. He opens
the eyes of our hearts and prepares us to be warmed by the light of His
love.
Some will dwell in darkness. They will not see glimpses of HOPE God places in our hearts. They will forget to trust in the power of His love and miss the opportunities to be held by the strength of our Savior.
But, those who humbly follow Christ will be blessed. They will stand in awe of God’s gift to the world and understand why peace comes in abundance.
God wants us to have an abundant life. The Bible says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. Old things have passed away and new things have come.” 2 Corinthians 5: 17
God gives opportunities to receive Him. And, when we respond to His tugging of our hearts, He fills us with peace that passes all understanding. He arms us with everything we need to find His strength and reminds us why we need the Savior.
Dear God, Thank you for Jesus. We are humbled to remember the cross and gratefully acknowledge the One who died in our place. Open our hearts to the presence of peace, so we will gratefully receive the abundance of Your love. And, when darkness tries to hold us in the worries of our wonder, help us trust in You so we will be warmed by led by the light of Your love and discover why strength is found in Your faithfulness. Amen
