“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you: he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

In the midst of disCOURAGEment, courage stands in the middle. It dwells in the deepest place of our hearts and waits to be nurtured by God. It welcomes a heart of hope, when we have been humbled to understand; mercy covers ALL pain. 

Christ lifts us to the One who saves. He helps us recognize why we need the Father and guides us where we feel the healing of His love. He bandages the wounds of weakness and allows peace to flow from a heart of trust. 

Fear robs us of peace, when doubt is held where it doesn’t belong. We must have faith! God will keep us strong and bring COURAGE to the middle of whatever we're going through. He will lead us to a prayer of praise and always respond to us, even in our broken hallelujahs. 

Dear God, Thank you for showing us how to stand firm in faith and learn to be strong and courageous. Forgive us when we forget to trust in You. Help us remember You are handling our days and leading us every step of the way. Amen
