“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.” Philippians 4:12 NIV

God grows us by the goodness of His grace. He humbles our hearts when we receive His offering of  love. He teaches how to trust. In tender moments of truth, He reminds us why the selfish side of WANT will never help us find what we NEED.

In the timing of His will, God arms us with everything we need to discover His strength. Our mighty Provider nourishes our souls in peace that covers weakness. And, when we’re faithfully full, He leads us to a prayer of praise and reminds us who takes care of our needs.

God will nurture us, if we grow in Him. He will teach us how it feels to embrace the blessing of a grateful heart. He will show us the secret of being content in ALL situations. And, He will help us never forget He is a good, good Father!

Dear God, Thank you for knowing our needs.  Help us trust You will provide for our days. Bring peace to our hearts and help us recognize we are truly loved. Lead us to a place of content and remind us why we must always remember who is in charge of ALL things. Amen
