Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act. Psalm 37:7

When rain falls, God showers the earth. He nurtures what needs to be grown and saturates the hardened crevasses of the ground. He places HOPE in what waits to be discovered and reminds us why we must faithfully learn to trust.     

Sometimes, we become weary and impatient while we wait for gray-sky days to disappear. But, God provides strength to manage weathered doubt. He teaches to believe in the timing of His love and anchors us in everything we need to persevere. He shows us how weather will change and reminds us why His love for us will not.  

God cultivates a faithful heart in His time and for His great purpose. He has a plan for our days. He answers when we seek Him. He guides us in His word (Bible) and demonstrates the power of love.

The Maker of every living thing allows us to receive what He will provide. We must humble our hearts and recognize who’s in charge of all things. God will guide us through the storms  and prepare us to once again welcome calm, when we have learned to patiently trust in the power of His greatness.

Dear God, Thank you for waking us to another day. Rain or shine, help us feel the light of Your love. We will place our hope in You, as we’re led through weathered days of doubt. And, we will find strength to be reminded why we should praise You in ALL things. Amen
