For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV

Sometimes, we underestimate the power of God and forget we were created for His great purpose. We feel inadequate, weak and wonder how to serve Him with a heart of trust. But, Christ finds the way to remind us we are capable of doing great things.

When we cooperate with the spirit of Jesus, He transforms us. He restores our souls and brings peace in the presence of His love. He takes away the fear which robs us of joy and shows us how it feels to persevere. And, when we have learned to surrender, He reminds us why strength comes in the calm of faithful love.   

“Anxiety is the great modern plaque. But faith can cure it!” We have tremendous power within ourselves to realize Christ is bigger than our fear! He will squelch the beast of burden which robs us of content and guide us back where joy is found. He will show us where to find His strength.

The Bible says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12: 9

God will allow us to see ourselves as He sees us; capable and able to do great things. He will remind us why we are worthy of His love and honor our efforts to serve Him. He will place joy in our lives and help us remember to trust in the power of His love. And, He will show us how it feels to embrace the calming of a grateful heart.

Dear God, Thank you for leading us by Your will. Forgive us when we allow fear to rob us of Your joy. Fill us with strength and prepare us to be used by You. We will love You all the days of our lives and surrender our fear to Jesus. And, we will honor YOU with a grateful heart of thanks, as we begin this day in PRAISE.  Amen
