“He tends his flock like a shepherd. He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart; He gently leads those that have young.” Isaiah 40:11 NIV
There will be days we become distracted and forget to trust the One who saves. We will forget who handles our days and need to be reminded where to find calm. But, the good Shepherd will guide us back where we belong. He will redirect our steps and guide us when we lose our way. And, if we forget which way to go, He will help us recognize how to be found in Him.
Jesus is the gentle Provider of strength. He leads us to the Father. He
shows us how to trust. He handles the circumstances in our days and
demonstrates the depth of holiness. And, when we embrace the power
of peace, He helps us find mercy in the Father. He reminds us who’s in
charge of our days and guides us where grace is found in the heart of
His faithfulness.
Christ will steer us in the right direction and show us how it feels to trust. He will remind us to put our hope in Him. He will help us recognize the offering of God’s love. But, we must faithfully follow and NEVER be afraid to be guided by the strength of His endless love.
Dear God, Thank you for Jesus. Humble our hearts while we’re cradled in care and held in the arms of His greatness. We will hold on tight, so peace will flow in the wounds of our weakness and grace will cover the sores of our souls. We will trust You all the days of our lives and never stop seeking the gentle Shepherd of strength. Amen
