Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act. Psalm 37:7

When rain falls, God showers the earth. He nurtures what needs to be grown and satisfies the thirsty ground. He places HOPE in what waits to be discovered and reminds us why we must learn to trust.     

Sometimes, we become impatient as we wait for clouds to disappear. We long for the sun to shine and become weary when we cannot see it. But, God provides strength to manage our weathered doubt. He teaches to believe in the timing of His love and arms us with what we need to persevere. He shows us how the weather will change and reminds us why His love for us will not. 

God cultivates a faithful heart in His time and for His great purpose. He has a plan for our days. He answers when we seek Him. He guides us in His word (Bible) and demonstrates the depth of His love, as we prayerfully connect with Him.

The Maker of every living thing allows us to receive what He provides. We must humble our hearts and recognize who’s in charge of ALL things. God will guide us through the storms. He will help us prepare to welcome calm again, when we have learned to PATIENTLY be STILL and TRUST in the power of His greatness.

Dear God, Thank you for waking us to another day. Rain or shine, help us feel the light of Your love. We will place HOPE in You, as we’re led through weathered days of doubt. And, we will find strength to be reminded why we must praise You in ALL things. Amen
