In quiet moments of need, we call on the Savior to hear our prayers and fill us with His mighty love. Jesus waits for us to receive Him and open our hearts to the presence of peace.

Peace that is plentiful; how can we find it? Philippians 4:6-7 says, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayers and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Perfect peace surpasses all understanding. We will never fully comprehend how God will choose to fill us with His peace. But, He will find the way. And, in moments to recognize the power of love, we will find courage to welcome His strength.

When God has filled us with the presence of peace, we will begin to understand what it means to embrace a heart of calm. We will trust in the One who will cradle us in care and never let us forget; we are worthy of His love.

Dear God, Teach us to trust in Your mighty strength. We will seek You with all of our hearts and recognize the power of Your holiness. Fill us with desire to praise You, as we find hope in the promise of Your everlasting love. And, lead us where we will be reminded; peace will flow, when we embrace the gift of a grateful heart.  Amen
