Early
in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize
that it was Jesus. He called out to them, “Friends haven’t you any fish?”
“No,” they answered. He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and
you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because
of the large number of fish. John 21:4-6
God
provides everything we need. As we faithfully learn to trust, He finds the way
to take care of us. He helps us recognize how it feels to have plenty and
demonstrates the power of His amazing love.
Sometimes,
we worry about provisions for our lives. But, when we remain faithful, Jesus
finds the way to lead us toward a heart of content. He shows us what has
already been given and helps us learn to embrace a grateful heart of trust.
God
wants us to have an abundant life. He provides for His children. We must never
worry we will not have enough. God will manage the circumstances of our days.
But, we must obey His instructions and find hope in the guiding of Christ.
Jesus provided for His disciples and He helps us in ways we never could have imagined.
We must be faithful, BELIEVE in God’s will and never underestimate His ability
to know exactly what we need, when we need it.
Dear
God, Thank you for providing for our days. You know our every need and respond
in Your time and for Your great purpose. We will trust in You and follow
Christ. And, when we feel the tugging of our hearts, we will respond and
faithfully obey. We will gratefully praise the love of Your faithfulness and
never forget; You are the Provider of everything we will ever need. Amen
