"In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will." Ephesians 1:11
Christ prepares us for greatness. He readies us to work and longs for us to see ourselves as He see us; capable and ABLE to serve Him with a heart of love. But, often we focus on weakness and forget there is a plan for our lives. We allow days of doubt to rob us of content and forget God is working to grow us.
There's benefit in understanding we are children of God. When we know
Him as loving Father and receive the gifts He provides, we learn to
welcome joy. God blesses us with desire to be used by Him. He allows us
to feel the tugging of our hearts and discover purpose in His will.
Why would we want anything less than what God wants for us? Each day will provide opportunity. He will help us learn about ourselves and show us how to be used for His glory.
We ARE God’s prized possessions and He loves us. He will make the way for us to find purpose in our days. And, we learn how it feels to be GRATEFUL.
Dear God, Thank you for moments to feel Your mighty power and recognize how we are grown by You. Fill us with Your strength and prepare us to be led. We will love You with all of our hearts and faithfully remember who is in charge of ALL things. And, we will serve You with joy, as we welcome the blessing of a grateful heart. Amen
