Sometimes, the sea of life carries us in waves of worry and leads us far away from the safety of solid ground. We face unfamiliar waters of uncertainty and try our best to hold on tight. 

It’s easy to lose sight of where we’re going when we can’t see what’s ahead. Life becomes difficult when we have to work hard to stay afloat. But, God reminds us He is the One who carries us through the tides and tribulations in our lives.

When strong waves lead us far away from the familiar shores of calm, God lifts us with His arms of strength and helps us find safety in Him. He whispers, “I am here” and reminds us why we are protected by the strength of His mercy and love.  

God has the power to rescue us! He uses circumstances in our lives to strengthen our faith and remind us who’s in charge of ALL things. He sees inside the heart of those who long to be rescued and shows us where to find peace, when we learn how it feels to TRUST.

The sea of life will carry us in waves of worry, but God will lead us to the safety of the shore. He will hold us in His loving arms of strength and remind us why we must ALWAYS hold on tight! 

Dear God, Thank you for Your presence of peace. Lift us from waves of worry and comfort us while we’re cradled in Your care. Lead us to the safety of the shore. And, when we’re standing on solid ground, help us recognize the power of Your greatness, so we will gratefully understand how it feels to be rescued by YOU. Amen
