“Learning to listen for God’s quiet but clear answers is important…How we need to cultivate a listening heart.” 

God prepares us to receive His will for our lives. He allows us to recognize His leading as He whispers to our hearts. God wants us to receive what we need to hear and realize when He has spoken. 

We cannot hear unless we’re quiet, still and available to receive what’s meant to understand. God speaks to us, but sometimes we’re too busy to hear. He speaks through the Bible, through others and through our circumstances. He speaks through the Holy Spirit and allows us to recognize when we have come before His presence of peace.

God shows strength in the quiet moments, when life cannot interrupt the stillness of our silent souls. In this time of reflection, we begin to appreciate what He’s trying to say. We must trust in Him, as we prepare ourselves to follow His lead and discover how He will handle our days. 

Dear God, Help us seek you with a listening heart. Allow us to hear what You will provide, when our souls has been silenced by your greatness. Fill us with Your love and help us recognize when You have spoken. Amen
