When life moves us along, we often become consumed by our own agendas. We try to handle life on our own. We forget who’s in charge of ALL things and have difficulty releasing control. But, God knows the plans He has for our days. And, when we need to be reminded to trust, He opens our hearts and shows us how to be led by the timing of His will.
He blesses the heart of our faithfulness. Christ finds the way to remind us of His presence in our lives. Sometimes, we forget who leads us to the Father. We forget to be grateful for the gift of grace. We forget how it feels to have a relationship with the One who loves us. And, we need to be reminded to love Him MORE…
We must humble our hearts and recognize why He must be greater in our lives. For, when our hearts have been renewed, Jesus will lead us to the cross. He will allow us to consider how He painfully took our shame and help us see why we need the strength of His everlasting love.
Christ WILL provide opportunity to be led. He WILL grow us in greatness. He WILL fill us with peace and help us find a path of purpose. He will help us desire MORE of Him, when we have learned why there must be LESS of us.
Dear God, Thank you for the everlasting love of Christ. When we become too full of ourselves, humble our hearts, so we will recognize why He DESERVES to be so much greater in our lives. Amen
