He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40: 29-31

Sometimes, we forget why we need the Savior. We become tired, weary and weak. But, in times of need, Christ lifts us. He holds us in His arms of STRENGTH and raises us to see glimpses of what’s ahead. While we're resting in the shelter of His love, He prepares us to discover the perfect power of God. 

We will all grow tired and weary. Life will slow us down and make us wish for better days to come. But, Jesus will show us why we need to be held for a while. He will cradle us in care and place HOPE in the longing of our hearts. He will humble us by grace and ready us to receive what God WILL provide. 

We mustn’t be afraid to recognize why we are fragile. If we acknowledge the heart of our weakness and pray to be renewed, God will arm us with everything we need to feel the power of His strength. He will help us accomplish great things when we BELIEVE, obey His guiding in our lives and learn to totally TRUST. 

Christ will lead us to content. God has a plan for our days. He is working in our lives for the good. We must turn from our selfish ways, believe in the power of His strength and patiently wait to be renewed by His greatness. His mercy and love will forever endure. He is a good, good Father. 

Dear God, Thank you for giving us strength when we’re tired, weary and weak. Thank you for Jesus! We will welcome the gift of His presence and wait to be filled by the power of love. We will find HOPE in Your handling of this day and gratefully welcome PEACE while we’re cradled in His care. Amen
