He is merciful and tender toward those who don’t deserve it; he is slow to get angry and full of kindness and love. He never bears a grudge, nor remains angry forever. He has not punished us as we deserve for all our sins, for his mercy toward those who fear and honor him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our sins as far away from us as the east is from the west. Psalm 103:8-12 TLB
God covers us. He reaches far beyond our selfish selves and provides the way to experience the depth of His love. And, when we have been humbled in tender moments of truth, He shows us how to examine our hearts and feel the power of His mighty presence.
God recognizes
our inadequacies. He helps us remember we are more than our mistakes. He
loves us. And, while we’re held in moments of surrender, He shows us
how to welcome the Savior.
As we reflect on His loving sacrifice, Jesus leads us to a grateful prayer of praise. When we have been readied to receive Him, He shows us how to examine our lives and welcome the gift of His peace.
God wants us to have an abundant life. Our Father cares for His children. He knows our every need. He sees inside the empty spaces in our hearts and prepares us to welcome His joy. We must trust in the plans He has for our days and never, ever forget He is worthy of our praise.
Dear God, Thank you for humbling our hearts and showing us how to examine our lives. Help us surrender what holds us back from having a relationship with Jesus. Teach us to be patient, while we’re guided by Your will. And, provide the wisdom we need to always remember; YOU are worthy of ALL of our love. Amen
