Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Prov. 3:5&6
Jesus uses moments to draw us nearer. He knows the heart of our need and sees the human side of sadness. In moments to remind us we’re not alone, He whispers, “I am here” and bandages wounds of weakness. He holds us for a while. And while we’re sheltered in His care, He reminds us why we need the Father.
Life will continue to disappoint. At some time, we will all feel frustration and despair. We will never find content in what the world has to offer. But, God will provide the presence of His strength. Life will change, but He will not! He understands our circumstances. He knows what will happen next. God fills us with the power of peace and strengthens us.
Calm will come when we learn how to TRUST. When we surrender to Him, God will provide strength to persevere. He will help us become stronger than before. And, He will show us why we are worthy and capable of doing great things.
God will not move us ahead, until He has readied us for what’s to come. His timing is not our own. He has a plan for our days. When one door closes, we must patiently wait and believe God knows what He’s doing…We must BELIEVE and be ready to welcome content, when we have learned how it feels to totally TRUST.
Dear God, Thank you for knowing our every need. Teach us to be patient while we wait for Your will to be revealed. We will find strength in You and welcome the HOPE You provide, when we learn how to faithfully put our TRUST in You. Amen
