Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act. Psalm 37:7a

When rain falls, God showers the earth. He nurtures what needs to be grown in grace and saturates hardened crevasses of the ground. He places HOPE in what waits to be discovered and shows us how to faithfully WAIT. 

Sometimes, we become weary and impatient while we wait for the rain to stop. But, God provides strength to manage our weathered doubt. He teaches how to persevere and trust in the timing of His will. He reminds us why the weather will change, but He will not.

God will cultivate a trusting heart in His time and for His great purpose. He has a plan for our days. He answers when we seek Him. He will guide us in His word (Bible) and demonstrate the power of His everlasting love. 

The Maker of every living thing will allow us to receive what He provides. We must humble our hearts and understand who's in charge of ALL things. God will help us remember why sunny days WILL return. We must learn to patiently TRUST. 

Dear God, Thank you for waking us to another day. Rain or shine, help us feel the light of Your unchanging love. We will put our hope in You, as we’re led through weathered days of doubt. We will find strength to be reminded this is the day You have made, especially for us! Amen
