The Lord
is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;
Lamentations 3:25 NIV
There are lessons to be learned while we
wait on God. He handles the moments of our lives and places strength in the
heart of our wonder. In the timing of His will, He helps us remember who’s in
charge of our days. He fills us with HOPE as we learn to trust and teaches how
to remain faithful.
God prepares us for what happens next.
He opens our hearts to the power of His will and readies us to seek Him. When worries
rob us of content, He reveals His presence in our lives. He shows us how to welcome
Jesus and receive the offering of His love.
Now, more than ever we need the love of the
Savior. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and
have it in all its fullness. I am the
good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep.” When we’re lost,
Jesus returns us to the faithful flock. He hears our cries for mercy and allows
us to recognize the power of His strength. He shows us how it feels to be held.
And while we’re cradled in care, God provides glimpses of what’s to come. He
pours HOPE in the heart of our need and shows us how to be found in Him.
The Lord is GOOD to those who are
hopeful. Let us open our hearts and find strength in what God will provide. He
will handle the happenings of our days and show us how to be held in wholeness.
He is a good, good Father. We must put our trust in Him and never forget to faithfully
PRAY.
