For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. John 3: 17 NIV
Jesus is our precious companion. The blood of His love poured strength in the heart of our weakness, when He died on the cross and took the sins of the world.
It’s humbling
to consider the One without sin suffered to take our own. Many will turn
away from Him. But, His love will endure forever. He will plant seeds
of faithfulness and patiently waits for us to choose whether or not we
will be nurtured by His grace.
God sent Jesus to teach the truth. He taught about heaven and how to bring peace to the world. He provided hope for everlasting life and taught how to connect with the Father. He showed how to do God’s will in difficult circumstances.
We will all sin and fall short of the glory of God. But, when we humbly invite Jesus to dwell in our hearts, we will be able to understand; He is the way, the truth and the light. He is PEACE for our world. And, He is the only way to our Father.
Dear God, We are humbled to remember why You sent Jesus to the world. Teach us to recognize Your faithfulness and gratefully receive the offering of Your everlasting love. Open our hearts, so we will remember the sacrifice of Your Son and remember why we ALL need Jesus. Amen
