"The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light." Romans 13:12 ESV 

God covers us with love and reminds us He is near. He opens our eyes to His presence and allows us to see what waits to be discovered.  When we choose to take time and look; He finds the way to remind us who placed the stars in the sky. And, even in darkness, He reveals the power of His strength. He prepares us to wait, while He commands the sun to rise.

God knows how the gifts of His creation will bring peace to our hearts. He knows what we need. He leads us where we stand in awe of everything He has done. He finds the way to arm us with the light of His love, when we’re ready to receive it.

God is the light of the world! Whoever follows Him will not walk in darkness, but will have the gift of life. (John 8:12) He is a good, good Father. We must trust in Him and never doubt the power of His greatness. He will warm us with His love and teach us why we must always trust in Him.

Dear God, You place the stars in the sky and remind us what waits to be seen, while we wait for the sun to rise. Thank you for leading us through the darkness. Help us remember reward will come, if we open our eyes and allow ourselves to welcome the gifts of Your greatness. Amen
