Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12 NIV
Often, we forget God is the mighty Provider of everything we need. He prepares us to recognize His guiding in our lives and places HOPE in our hearts, as we welcome Jesus.
Jesus meets us where we are and reminds us how it feels to be held by
His holiness. And, if we choose to follow Him, He will provide perfect
peace. The tender Shepherd of strength will lead us where we belong and
show us how to TRUST in the Father.
Sometimes, we’re afraid to humble our hearts and recognize we are weak. But, God sees inside wounds of the weary. He knows how to heal sores of the soul. He covers us in love and helps us remember; we will never find strength until we recognize why we need it.
NOW is the perfect time to turn our eyes on Christ and RECEIVE. God sent Jesus to the world so we will have eternal life and dwell with Him forever. Christmas isn’t the only time to praise Him with “Joy to the World”. Let us RECEIVE our King and “prepare Him room”, as we begin our prayers in praise and remember strength WILL come!
Dear God, Thank you for Jesus! As we welcome Him, we welcome YOU and praise Your power of strength. Humble our hearts, so we will be blessed and reminded how to gratefully receive the greatest gift of our lives. Amen
