"Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world." Psalm 46:10 NLT

When the timing is right, God speaks. He finds the way to reach us with the presence of His love. He reminds us He is closer than we think. 

Sometimes, we look for “larger than life” moments. We wait for huge displays of grandeur and forget He often chooses subtle ways to demonstrate the power of His greatness. In times of truth, God opens our eyes to see what waits to be discovered. He leads us when we listen to the tugging of our hearts. 

The world will try to rob us of hearing what needs to be heard. But, God will move us where we recognize His voice of reason. He will fill us with peace and provide the wisdom we need to be rewarded for our faithfulness.

We must be STILL and make time for God. He is worthy of our love. He is worthy of our praise. He will bring strength to our souls and fill us with His love. But, we must be ready to receive Him. And, we must patiently wait, so we will be prepared for what’s to come. 

Dear God, Thank you for quiet moments to feel Your presence of peace. Forgive us when we become distracted in our days. Remind us to be still, so we will welcome Your greatness and honor You, as we learn to be still and simply listen. Amen
