"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7

Faith is the key that opens the lock if we knock on the door of mercy. God humbles us for His will. He reminds us to trust in the power of love, as requests are made in the name of Jesus. 

God hears our words. And, when they cannot be articulated, the Holy Spirit speaks in our behalf. Prayer allows us to connect with the Savior. Christ shows us how to seek God with all of our hearts, as we pray for guidance and hope. 

JUST ASK GOD! He helps us obtain what we need. When we ask for things He is ready to give, God blesses us with content. He helps us feel nurtured by faithfulness, as He offers His gift of grace. He reminds us why it is sufficient.   

Sometimes, we feel shut out. We stand behind doors of opportunity and forget God prepares us to find what waits on the other side. Faith in prayer accomplishes great things. God will provide courage to knock on the door. It will NOT be shut against us. 

Prayer is the source of our refuge. It calms the soul and humbles us to remember who's in charge of all things. God will guide and provide the way for us to be calmed by His greatness. But, we must allow ourselves to be cradled in care and recognize why we must faithfully commune with the Father.

Dear God, Sometimes we forget to ask YOU for guidance in our lives. Humble us for the gift of Your mercy and grace. We will love You with all of our hearts and find HOPE in the power of Your will, as we faithfully make our requests known to YOU. Amen
