The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life. Job 33:4 

God breathed out and Adam breathed in. The story of creation reminds us of the awesome power of God. The Maker of every living thing brought life to our existence and every breath was good. 

Sometimes we can't breathe deeply. We neglect to find rest in God's greatness and forget how it feels to be calmed in His care. We forget to TRUST. But, Jesus knows how to handle the chaos in our lives. When worry robs us of rest, He reminds us why we NEED the Father.

In tender moments of truth, Christ helps us recognize how to be still and call on the One who calms us. As we wait for the breath of reassurance, God fills us with strength. He shows us how it feels to breathe again...

We must never forget the Spirit of God made us. The breath of the Almighty gives life. When we cannot feel His presence of peace, we must ask for HELP. God will hear our prayers for mercy. He will arm us with everything we need to find strength in Him, if we remain faithful. He will show us how it feels to BREATHE deeply when we find rest in the rhythm of His love.  

Dear God, Thank you for perfect PEACE. Help us find calm in Your greatness. We will welcome Your strength and be blessed by calm, when we have learned to breathe in YOU. Amen
