“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10 NIV 

God longs for us to receive Jesus. In moments to humble our hearts, He readies us to recognize His greatness. He leads us to the manger and humbles the heart of those who welcome Him. 

It’s easy to become stressed in the hectic pace of our days. But, when we take time to focus on Christ, peace flows from   faithfulness. He helps us feel thankful and reminds us why we need the Savior. 

God will teach us to trust. He will show us how to be held by the power of love. He will strengthen and renew a steadfast spirit; if we choose to be still, surrender to Him and accept what He will create in us. 

Dear God, Thank you for Jesus. Fill our hearts with peace, as we reflect on Your offering to the world. Quiet the rumblings of hearts, so we will focus on You and recognize how to receive the bounty of Your everlasting love. Amen
