And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 ESV 

Christ nurtures a peaceful heart when He leads us to the Father. When we are still, He blesses those who recognize the presence of peace. He readies our hearts for the power of mercy and grace. And, in tender moments of truth; we begin to see how it feels to be covered by EVERLASTING love. 

Some will not prayerfully surrender and choose to be still. They will dwell in the distractions of life and forget how it feels to discover calm. But, God will remind us He is HERE. He will remove worry and doubt. He will demonstrate the depth of His holiness. And, when we have learned to trust, Christ will help us find perfect PEACE. 

We will find rest, when we pray and seek the One who handles our days. God’s peace will surpass our understanding. He WILL guard our hearts and minds in Jesus. If we will welcome the Savior, we WILL find comfort while we’re cradled in His care. 

Dear God, Thank you for STRENGTH that comes as we’re held by Jesus. While we’re cradled in His care, we will focus on You and welcome perfect peace. Arm us with everything we need to feel the power of Your greatness. Open our hearts to trust in the timing of Your will and help us never forget why You WILL make us strong. Amen
