I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16: 33 

Sometimes, we think about days which were simple and serene. We long to revisit the time when life was easy and calm. We pray for balance to return and forget God has reason for the timing of our lives. 

When we are tried by troubles, Jesus reminds us we’re not alone. He leads us through the ups and downs and helps us handle our days. He lifts us with arms of strength and invites us to stay for a while. And, while we are nurtured by peace, He shows how it feels to be held. 

Perfect days will NOT last forever. God never promised they would. But, He will use each and every moment to grow a heart of trust. And, He will help us understand why we need the Savior. Jesus will draw us closer than before and reveal what happens when we humble our hearts for Him. He will help us CLEARLY see what God provides FOREVER…

There will be trials and tribulations. But, we must take heart and we must not fear. Perfect PEACE is found in Jesus! He will shelter us in mercy and care. Grace will prepare us to discover how it feels to be faithful. And, God will perfectly provide in the presence of His amazing love. 

Dear God, Thank you for opening our eyes to feel Your power of strength. We will trust You with all of our hearts and welcome the love of Jesus. In the midst of trials, we will learn to embrace the gift of a grateful heart, as we discover the promise of Your perfect PEACE. Amen
