May the God of hope fill you with
all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by
the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 NIV
God is the Author and Giver of
grace. He reminds us to remember; Jesus is our hope. The One who came to save
shows us how to find PEACE. He cradles us in calm, when we need to be reminded
who’s in charge of our days.
HOPE is something we need, now more
than ever! Violence and despair, hatred and plague, cruelty and dissension
dominate the news. Natural disasters, economic woes and fear of what’s to come;
affect our way of thinking, as we consider our earthly struggles.
The Bible has a lot to say about
trouble in the world. John 16: 33 says,” I have said these things to you, that
in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take
heart; I have overcome the world.”
Peace will not flow where it
belongs, unless we welcome Jesus and allow Him to nurture our FAITH. The Bible
says, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because
they trust in you. Isaiah 26:3
God has the power to do what we
cannot! He will allow HOPE to reach us, if we humble our hearts, turn from our
selfish ways and honor Him as Lord of our lives. Christ knows our suffering
because He suffered for us. Peace WILL replace doubt and fear, if we allow
ourselves to be guided and open our hearts to the presence of His purpose in
our lives.
“H-O-P-E = HOPE OFFERS PEACE
ETERNAL” Hope will prepare us for today and give us courage for tomorrow! It
will help us fix our eyes on the One who deserves our love and praise. Jesus
said that if we seek the praise of men on earth, we will have our reward, but
if we seek to glorify God, the Father will reward us.
Whatever is true, whatever is
honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is
commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise,
think about these things. Philippians 4: 8
Dear God, Thank you for Your
presence in our lives. YOU lift us with Your mighty arms of strength and know
how to pour calm in our hearts. Cradle us in care as we embrace the HOPE of
Christ and welcome Your perfect peace. Heal our land and help us learn how to
love one another. We will trust You all the days of our lives and give YOU the
glory for Your gifts of mercy and grace. Amen
