"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7

Faith is a key that opens the door of mercy, when we take time to knock. God reminds us to trust in the power of His love, as requests are made in the name of Jesus. He humbles us for His will and hears the prayers of His children.

God hears our words! And, when they cannot be spoken, the Holy Spirit speaks. Prayer allows us to connect with the Savior. Christ shows how to seek God with all of our hearts, as we pray for guidance and hope. 

We should JUST ASK GOD, when we don’t know what to do. He will help us obtain what we need. When we ask for what He is ready to give, He will bless us with content. He will nurture our faithfulness and offer His gift of grace. He will remind us why it is sufficient, as we patiently wait.   

Faith in prayer WILL accomplish great things. God will provide courage to knock on the door. And, it will NOT be shut against us. Prayer is the source of our strength. It will calm the soul and humble us to remember who's in charge of all things.

God will guide and provide the way for us to be calmed by His greatness. But, we must allow ourselves to be cradled in His care and faithfully take time to commune with the Father.

Dear God, Sometimes we forget to ask YOU for guidance in our lives. Humble us for the gift of Your mercy and grace. We will love You with all of our hearts and find HOPE in the power of Your will, as we faithfully pray to You. Amen
