Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10 

JESUS finds the way to reach us. In tender moments of truth, He reminds us why He must be greater in our lives. He leads us to the Father. And, when our hearts have been renewed, He guides us to the cross so we will understand why He painfully took our shame.

Christ is the example of humility! He humbled Himself to death and God exalted Him. When we glorify God, we understand why we must humble our hearts and make room to receive the gift of His mercy and grace. 

God helps us see how it feels to TRUST. He provides the way to be reminded who will handle our days. He paves the way to discover His power of strength, when we have learned to be led. He shows how to welcome His presence of peace, so we will NEVER need to be reminded how very much we are loved. 

Dear God, Forgive us when we turn away from the One who took our pain. You know the heart of ALL suffering. Help us find strength to welcome the love of Your faithfulness, as we are transformed by the power of Your love. And, help us never forget why You are worthy of our praise. Amen
