He is merciful and tender toward those who don’t deserve it; He is slow to get angry and full of kindness and love. He never bears a grudge, nor remains angry forever. He has not punished us as we deserve for all our sins, for His mercy toward those who fear and honor Him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our sins as far away from us as the east is from the west. Psalm 103:8-12 TLB

God covers us in love. He reaches far beyond our sinful selves and provides the way to experience the depth of His holiness. And, when we have been humbled in tender moments of truth, He shows how to examine our hearts and feel the presence of perfect peace. 

God recognizes our inadequacies. He guides us to the cross and provides the way for us to consider we are more than our mistakes. He loves us. And, while we are held in tender moments of surrender, He guides us to the cross and helps us recognize the love of our Savior. 

As we reflect on His sacrifice, God demonstrates His love and leads us to a grateful prayer of praise. When we have been readied to receive Him, He shows how to examine our lives, so we will recognize how to welcome promised joy. 

God wants us to have an abundant life. Our Father cares for His children. He knows our every need. He sees inside the wounds of weakness and bandages the sores of our souls. We must surrender to Him, trust in His power to lead us and always remember He is worthy of ALL our love.

Dear God, Thank you for humbling our hearts and showing us how to examine our lives. Help us surrender the things which rob us from having a relationship with You. Teach us to be patient, while we’re guided by Your will. And, provide the wisdom we need to never forget; YOU are worthy of all of our love. Amen
