These trials are only to test your faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold. And, your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold. So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor, on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. 1 Peter 1:7

God sees how we cope with the circumstances in our lives. He longs to lead us to His arms of strength, when pressure builds and we need to be held by the power of love. But sometimes, we choose to deal with difficulties on our own and forget how it feels to faithfully TRUST. 

The Bible says, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4

God nurtures our faithfulness. He uses moments of surrender to fill us with the presence of peace. In troubled times of need, He reminds us who's in charge of our days. As we learn to trust, He leads us past the obstacles. He carries us over the mountains and prepares us to discover what waits on the other side. 

We must humble our hearts and allow ourselves to be led by the strength of God's greatness. He will use the trials in our lives to teach us to be faithful. If we are steadfast, He WILL guide us toward better days to come! He is God. He knows our every thought. He knows our needs. He will help us remain faithful.

Dear God, Thank you for the presence of Your love. Forgive us when we allow trials in our lives to rob us of peace. We will patiently wait to be led by Your greatness. We will surrender the worries of our hearts and make room for HOPE to dwell in the love of our faithfulness. Thank you for handling our lives and giving us courage to TRUST. You are deserving of our praise in ALL situations. Amen
