I look up to the mountains. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord. He is the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121: 1-2 NIRV
Our mighty Creator made heaven, earth and every living thing. He is our Helper in time of need; a loving Father who handles ALL of our days. He guides us where we faithfully learn to trust and shows us how to focus on the power of His love.
Often, we have trouble seeing what’s ahead and forget who helps us
focus on the Father. But, Jesus navigates the steps we take and reminds
us why we must keep on going. He shows how to experience His presence in
our lives and helps us find strength to persevere.
God’s power is far greater than anything we can imagine! We can call on Him when we’re going through difficult days of challenge and doubt. He is close to the heart of our need. He provides STRENGTH, HOPE and courage and readies us to handle the happenings in our days.
If we absorb God’s WORD, we will recognize His presence in our lives. Isaiah 41:10 says “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” And, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31: 6
We must remain faithful! God will equip us to move along. In the timing of His will, He will reveal what waits to be discovered. We must NEVER forget; He will give strength to those who trust and faithfully put their HOPE in Him. Our help WILL come from the Lord!
Dear God, Thank you for reminding us to put our HOPE in You. YOU are worthy of all of our love and faithfulness. We will find comfort in the promise of Your peace, as You fill us with Your strength and lead us to a place of calm. Amen
