“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12 NIV
Sometimes, we forget there’s hope for our situations. In times of difficulty, Jesus reminds us He’s here! He helps us remember who handles our days and provides peace in the presence of TRUST. As we learn to patiently wait, He fills us with desire to open our hearts, seek the Father and faithfully wait in the timing of His will.
God never promised we would be without difficulty in our lives. He is
with us in the trials and tribulations. He helps us persevere! He draws
us close to the presence of peace and allows us to recognize we are NOT
alone. He helps us find joy in the patience of affliction and reminds us
to faithfully TRUST.
When we humble our hearts and pray, God demonstrates His holiness. He finds the way to cradle us in care and fill us with peace that passes all understanding. And, as we are held in the arms of the Savior, He fills us with calm. He allows us to recognize how it feels to be grateful and reminds us to put our hope in Him.
When we are lifted to see glimpses of what’s ahead, God will prepare us to stand in strength. He will allow our eyes to be opened in truth. He will show us how to find rest and help us remember to be faithful. We must never doubt what God will do in our lives. We must be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and continue to pray. And, we must always, always remember; He really IS working in our lives.
Dear God, You are mighty, holy and worthy of our love…Thank you for the gift of Your presence! Our lives will change but YOU will not. Teach us to totally trust, as we follow Jesus and remember who handles our days. We will find hope in ALL situations. And, we will remain faithful to YOU. Amen
