For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2: 8-9 NIV

Sometimes we forget GRACE is God’s FAVOR. It’s something we can’t earn. It is God doing good for us because He loves us!  Grace includes God’s mercy. And, because of His mercy, we’re not judged for our sin. God shows His grace and saves us from sin's punishment, when we trust Jesus as our Savior and believe in the power of His love.   

Because of God’s grace we will receive eternal life and a promise of heaven. Grace is the FULLNESS of God’s awesome love. It gives strength to remain hopeful, as we gratefully receive the promise of salvation, because of Jesus.   

Grace and faith make salvation REAL in us. When we’re transformed by His amazing grace, we’re able to live out the good works He has planned. 2 Corinthians 9:8 says, "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work." 

We ALL need the amazing grace of God!  Without it, we can’t have eternal life. But, we also need God’s grace for our DAILY walk with Him.  When we’re weak, He provides strength of the Savior. He arms us with everything we need to gratefully receive His grace AND recognize how to show it to others.

Was blind, but now I see…” ♪ These beautiful lyrics remind us; the gift of God’s GRACE opens our eyes to His will. God lovingly rescues us by His mercy and love. He knows that heart of those who long to be transformed.

Dear God, Thank you for Your awesome love! You show favor on us and humble our hearts in truth. Thank you for the gift of Your mercy and grace. May it cover us in the fullness of Your love and arm us with everything we need to honor You with a humble heart of thanks. Amen
