Don’t worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks for what you have. And because you belong to Christ Jesus, God’s peace will stand guard over all your thoughts and feelings. His peace can do this far better than our human minds. Philippians 4:6-7 ERV

Christ meets us where we are. He extends His arms of hope and longs for us to hold on tight. Sometimes, He has to reach too far. We worry and forget to faithfully trust. But, our loving Savior watches over us. He tugs at the heart of our wonder and lifts us from the worry in our lives. 

When we open our hearts to His greatness, we begin to realize Jesus guides us to the Father. And, as we're humbled by His presence, He arms us with the power of strength. He shows how to welcome peace and helps us learn how it feels to trust. He fills us with the power of love and helps us focus on Him. 

God's already planned the happenings of our days. He knows what will happen next. He readies us to feel the calm of His presence and prepares us to receive mercy and grace. He knows how to help us stay strong. 

There will never be a day without God. He is here! He is near to the heart of our needs and He knows EVERYTHING about us. His peace will stand guard over our thoughts and our wonder. He WILL take care of those He loves.

Dear God, Thank you for moments to be lifted by Jesus. We will trust in the power of Your love and respond to the tugging of our hearts. We will welcome perfect peace and gratefully appreciate the presence of Your strength. Please help us remain faithful and give us hope, so we will be reminded why calm will come, if we remain faithful. Amen
