Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
Christ is waiting and available when we call on Him. And, when we ready our hearts to welcome the presence of peace, He humbles us to consider why God sent Him to the world. 

Jesus came to demonstrate God’s love. He was sent to preach good news about the kingdom and lead us from the darkness. He came because God sent Him to save the sinners and seek the lost. He came to show true purpose of life and guide us where His will is shown in the light. 
Sometimes, we forget we need Jesus. He came to do the will of His Father and reach each one of us. He offers grace from love which is undeserved and cradles us in care, when we need to feel worthy. 
We can humble our hearts and receive what is ours if we choose to embrace it. But, we must examine our lives and consider what is holding us back from receiving Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life. If we surrender our sinful selves, peace will flow from the presence of His glorious gift to the world. 
Dear God, We are calmed by Jesus, as we experience the warmth of His love and receive the presence of Your precious Son. We will find strength in the power of holiness and remember how lucky we are to welcome Christmas. Amen
