I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. Isaiah 42:16 NIV

Sometimes, we step ahead on our own. We focus on weakness and need to be reminded strength will come, when we walk with Jesus. We forget to open our eyes wide enough to see what's been planned for our days. And, we forget how it feels to journey with the One who handles ALL things. 

Often, it’s hard to focus on what’s to come. We become blinded and worried about the bumps in the road. Life brings challenges and it’s hard to know which way to go. But, God reminds us we will NEVER walk alone. He guides and provides, as we faithfully learn how it feels to travel in the steps of the Savior. 

God helps us manage our lives. He allows us to recognize the reward of our faithfulness. And, when we continue to patiently TRUST, He readies us to step through the darkness. He removes the blinders from our eyes and reminds us not to be afraid! 

God will arm us with everything we need to receive Him with eyes wide open. If we focus on Christ and allow ourselves to feel the light of His love, He will warm us with the glow of His greatness. He will humble our hearts and show us where to travel. He will provide the wisdom we need. He will clear the way for us to journey with Jesus, if we choose to faithfully follow. 

Dear God, As we walk ahead in our lives, show us the path that leads to You. Teach us to trust in the power of Your will as we prepare for what’s to come. We will love You with all of our hearts and choose to follow Jesus. And, we will open our eyes to what You provide in the timing of Your will. Humble our hearts as we journey ahead and help us remember why we will never walk alone. Amen
