These trials are only to test your faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold. And, your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold. So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor, on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. 1 Peter 1:7

God watches how we handle the happenings of our days. He lifts us with arms of strength, when pressure builds and we need to be held by the power of love. But sometimes, we try and deal with difficulties on our own and forget how it feels to TOTALLY trust. 

The Bible says, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4

God nurtures our faithfulness. He uses moments of purpose to fill us with the presence of peace. And, in troubled times of need, He reminds us who's in charge of our days. When we learn to totally TRUST, He leads us past the obstacles and carries us over mountains that cannot be traveled on our own. He prepares us to discover what is waiting on the other side.

If we humble our hearts and allow ourselves to be led by the strength of His greatness, God will use our trials to help us remain faithful. And, if we choose to trust in the power of His will, He WILL strengthen us. He will guide us toward better days to come and arm us with everything we need to keep on going...Surely, He will lead us through every single moment of our lives. 

Dear God, Thank you for the presence of Your love. Forgive us when we allow the trials in our lives to weaken our faith. We will trust in You and patiently wait to be led by Your greatness. And, in moments to be guided by our HOPE in You, we will surrender the worries of our hearts and never forget; You WILL handle ALL things. Amen
