Christ meets us where we stand. He extends His mighty arms and knows how to lift us to a place of PEACE. He pulls us from ditches of doubt and allows us to experience how it feels to be held by Him. He allows us to come just as we are. When Jesus reaches out to guide us to the Father, we don’t have to come in perfection.
The One who
died while we were still sinners doesn't require us to be anything more
than what we are, as we seek Him with broken hallelujahs. He knows the
worry of our hearts. There are no conditions for those who lift their
hands and humbly choose to be rescued. He knows about suffering. We will
NEVER experience the depth of pain He endured.
Christ is the way to the Father. He supplies hope, when we choose to follow Him and experience His presence in our lives. He gives us what we need, when PEACE diminishes fear and we decide to worry NO MORE! He reminds us to TRUST in what God has planned for our days. And, He helps us learn how to overcome.
When we have had a chance to embrace the gifts of His greatness, God will fill us with the power of His strength. As we discover His love is forever; He will transform us, when we we surrender and learn how to TRUST. He will handle our worries and remind us why He already knows what will happen next…
If we sit with Christ and allow ourselves to be filled by His greatness, we will experience PEACE that passes all understanding. He will lead us to a prayer of praise and we will see how joy nurtures a grateful heart. There will never be a day without God. He is here! He is near to the heart of our needs. He knows EVERYTHING about us. His PEACE will stand guard over our thoughts and doubt. He will ALWAYS take care of those He loves.
Dear God, Thank you for moments to be lifted by Jesus. We will trust in the power of Your everlasting love. As we welcome the presence of Your strength, we will remain faithful and put our hope in You. And, we will remember where to find perfect PEACE. It is exactly what we need. Amen
