"The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light." Romans 13:12 ESV
God wants us to be faithful while we wait for the sun to rise. He readies us to receive what He chooses to provide. He places HOPE where it will be found and guides us through the darkness of the night.
God covers us with His blanket of strength and cradles us in care. He
opens our eyes and readies us to welcome the light of Christ. He places
the sun where it will shine and warms us with His love. He longs for us
to feel the depth of His greatness.
God prepares us to battle the world's darkness, when we put on His armor of light. Jesus is the light of the world! Whoever follows Him will not walk in darkness, but will have the gift of life. John 8:12
We must trust in God and patiently wait in the timing of His will. He will help us be patient and allow us to remember why He knows what we need! He will warm us with the light of His love. He will give us strength and HOPE, if we choose to remain faithful.
Dear God, You place the stars in the sky and remind us what waits to be seen, while we wait for the sun to rise. Thank you for leading us through the darkness. Help us remember; reward will ALWAYS come, if we choose to welcome Your gifts and gratefully receive them. Amen
