“This is what the Lord says, “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ Jeremiah 6:16
Sometimes, it’s hard to know where to go. It becomes confusing when we can’t see glimpses of what’s ahead. The journey becomes difficult when we discover bumps in the road and worry about what will happen next. We forget God has a plan for the future.
He guides and provides as we follow Jesus. God readies us to step. He shapes our thoughts and navigates the travels in our lives. He helps us learn how it feels to TRUST and shows how to walk in obedience, when we choose to remain faithful.
We mustn't be afraid to walk with the One who knows where we’re going. Jesus teaches to be patient while we're readied to GO. He arms us with everything we need to find peace in His presence and opens our hearts for HOPE. He gives strength to persevere and shows us amazing things.
God reminds us reward WILL come, when we learn to be faithful. As we stand at the crossroads and seek Him with all of our hearts, He makes His presence known. He never asks us to travel until we’ve been readied for the journey. He guides and provides for our days.
We will never walk alone! God will give us clarity. He will open our eyes in truth and show us things we've never seen. We mustn't be afraid to TRUST. If we surrender the worry of our wonder, God will remove our fear. He will bless us in the timing of His will, direct the steps we take and help us find strength when it’s time to move along.
Dear God, Thank you for Your everlasting love. You prepare us to travel with Jesus and open our hearts to welcome HOPE. Arm us with everything we need to remain on the path that leads to YOU. We will trust YOU all the days of our lives and find STRENGTH in the promise of Your greatness. And, we will gratefully remember why we never walk alone. YOU have a plan for the future! Help us handle bumps in the road as we gratefully journey with You. Amen
