“Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in You.” Psalm 84:12 NIV

God longs to reach the heart of our need. He waits for us to acknowledge His presence in our lives. He handles the worries of our wonder and helps us seek the Savior while we wait for blessings to come. He nurtures a relationship with the One who bled for our sins. And, He knows our wounds that need to be healed. 

When we surrender to God, He helps us welcome Jesus. He allows us to witness the love of His faithfulness and learn how it feels to be humbled. He lifts us with arms of strength and reminds us why we need to be held. He helps us remember to ALWAYS hold on tight. 

Jesus fills us with perfect peace. He teaches us how to TRUST. And, when the timing is right, He sets our feet on solid ground. He shows how much we are valued and helps us recognize the need for mercy and grace. He shows us how to focus on the power of love, instead of worrying about things we can’t control.

Life will bring challenge and change. But, God will remain faithful, if we will lean on Him. If we surrender our fear and the burdens of our hearts, He will make us much stronger. Surely, we will be blessed if we TRUST in Him. He will always take care of what we need. 

Dear God, Thank you for love that covers us in HOPE. Teach us to TRUST in You. We will surrender the worries of our hearts and find rest in Your presence of peace. And we will find STRENGTH as we’re cradled in care and held in the arms of Jesus. Amen
