Thanks be to God for His incredible gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15

Our lives pass quickly from one moment to the next. As Christmas approaches, we’re not always ready to embrace the arrival of a season meant to bring joy and good will toward men. We become overwhelmed and consumed with routines that rob us of welcoming peace.

Advertisers challenge us to provide only the best for our families. They remind us Christmas is coming and work hard to convince us to purchase their gifts. But what we really need are reminders to recognize Christmas brings HOPE for the weary. We need to welcome Christ’s love in our lives and receive His precious gift of PEACE.

God sent His Son to bring peace and hope for the future. The manger reminds us of the best gift of Christmas. It helps us take time to remember the Christ Child and understand God’s plan for our days.

God longs for us to be filled with His presence. No matter what we’re going through, we need to be reminded we are not alone. He lovingly shows where to find the Savior and prepares us to receive the very best gift.

If we take time to reflect on the reason for the season, God will fill us with peace and prepare our hearts for Christmas. It is so much more than just one day to open gifts! If we humble our hearts EVERY day and gratefully embrace the love of our Savior, we will be blessed. Thank you, God for sending Your Son to fill us with everything we need. Thank you for loving us so very much!

Dear God, Thank you for blessing us with this wonderful season of HOPE. As we open our hearts to welcome Jesus, we will embrace the PEACE, JOY and LOVE You provide. Thank you for sending Jesus to save us. Fill us with everything we need to remember HE is the reason we celebrate Christmas. Thank you, God. Thank you! Amen
